I was always taught that there are two things in life that no one can ever take from you. Your education and your travels. I have been blessed in that I have been able to truly fill my brain, heart, soul and life with countless memories tied to both of these items.

Shortly after leaving the womb that my parents started exposing me to some of the most majestic places on earth. In fact my first trip at the ripe ole age of 5-months was to Colorado where I got my first taste of a true 5-star resort experience at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs. Ever since then I have had a love for travel and the opportunity to explore….in fact this passion has even led me to a career working in the travel and hospitality industry. Unfortunately it wasn’t until my 15th year working in the industry that I decided I wanted to start chronicling my travels…so unfortunately you have missed out on my extensive travel through Europe, Asia, Africa and The Americas…but I am always happy to reminiscent.

When I travel, I want to experience the true essence and authenticity of the destination. I mean that is why we travel right? To explore and try something new, something rarely seen and something I can’t get at home. I want to drink local beer, eat great food that features locally sourced ingredients and only found in that area. I want to experience a spa treatment that features ingredients indigenous to the area and feel like I am truly getting immersed into the destination. I want to live like a local and see the more uncommon side of travel not always found in the guidebook.

I am never shy to provide recommendations on where to stay, where to go, where to eat and what to do. In fact friends always joked when they called asking for travel help and recommendations that they were calling Klein Travel Agency. This is why I embarked on this journey with a passion for travel and a fascination for discovering new places and the hope that this blog would help those who aren’t as lucky as I am to explore some of the most beautiful and exciting places on the planet.
